Various Mobile App work
UnitedHealthcare Medicare Shopping Experience
As UX Director for UnitedHealthcare's Medicare plan shopping experience, I led efforts to extend the shopping journey into the mobile app, which had historically focused only on member services. Partnering with the mobile product team, we introduced shopper-focused capabilities that enabled users to compare plans, review benefits, add prescription drugs and providers, and evaluate coverage options directly from their mobile devices.
My role included UX strategy, information architecture, and experience leadership across multiple workstreams. A key challenge was adapting Medicare shopping patterns from the web experience into a mobile environment while introducing new shopper-focused capabilities to the app's design system. Working closely with product, business, engineering, and design teams, I helped transform complex healthcare requirements into intuitive, accessible, mobile-first experiences.
The initiative expanded UnitedHealthcare's digital acquisition capabilities and made Medicare plan shopping more accessible for millions of consumers by simplifying navigation, reducing complexity, and supporting informed decision-making on mobile.
My Coke Rewards
Pampers Gifts to Grow
The My Coke Rewards mobile experience was designed to extend Coca-Cola's popular loyalty program into consumers' everyday lives. The challenge was creating a simple and engaging mobile experience that encouraged users to participate, earn rewards, and stay connected with the brand across multiple touchpoints.
I led the experience design and visual execution of key mobile interactions, including account management, code entry, rewards discovery, and promotional engagement. The design approach focused on reducing friction while maintaining the playful, energetic personality associated with the Coca-Cola brand. Special attention was given to balancing usability with marketing objectives to increase ongoing participation.
The final experience provided members with a convenient way to engage with the loyalty program from anywhere, helping strengthen customer retention while creating new opportunities for brand interaction and reward redemption.
The Pampers Gifts to Grow mobile app was designed to help parents earn and redeem loyalty rewards by entering or scanning product codes from purchased packaging. The challenge was creating an experience that worked seamlessly in real-world conditions, where users were often multitasking, managing children, and interacting with the app in short moments throughout their day.
I partnered with the Pampers account team to lead UX design efforts focused on reducing friction and improving usability across the end-to-end experience. The solution balanced manual code entry and scanning workflows, introduced clear guidance and feedback throughout the process, and reinforced reward progress through thoughtful interaction design. Special attention was given to simplifying complex moments, improving error recovery, and creating a more responsive experience that connected physical products to digital rewards.
The resulting experience improved usability, reduced abandonment during code entry and scanning, and created a more engaging loyalty journey. By making rewards easier to earn and track, the app strengthened ongoing participation while delivering a faster, more intuitive experience for busy parents.
